Frost Flower Socks are knitted from the cuff to the toe.
You begin at the cuff with an Italian cast on and knit a twisted rib in the round.
The lace pattern on the leg and top of the foot is knitted following a chart. The bottom of the foot is knitted in stockinette.
The heel is a gusset heel. First you knit the heel flap, then the heel turn and then you pick up stitches along the flap to form the gusset.
